Chose Colma. Living outside the area, I wasn't sure what funeral home to choose for my brother's direct cremation. I am so glad I chose Colma Cremation and Funeral Services. The prices were reasonable, and the service from Hiroko and Reuben was extraordinary. Hiroko's kind messages were so lovely and reassuring during a difficult time. I appreciated the always daily messages to keep me updated. Choose Colma, you will be so pleased you did. All arrangements for my veteran brother were handled professionally and appropriately. Colma Cremation and Funeral Services handled my mom’s after-death care with genuine compassion and respect. We chose an all-natural approach with no embalming, and they honored that beautifully, preserving her natural beauty in a way that truly felt like she was being cared for by family. Everyone there was kind, gentle, and deeply supportive through every step. They also helped us find the perfect priest—someone who truly reflected my mom’s spirit and personality. It was everything we hoped for and more.

Colma was amazing. We were looking for a direct cremation, and I have say it was an odd experience until we chose them. I found one that was slightly less expensive, one that was the same price and a bunch up to double the price. Calling around was stressful. They all seemed to use industry lingo that I don't have the first clue about, there were all these extra charges for miles and days of storage and such, and a lot of them talked badly about their competitors. It wasn't that way with Colma though. What made me choose Colma, was Stephanie. She wasn't pushy at all, she was very upfront and so kind. We had to talk a few times during the process and she was always helpful. It made a really difficult situation so much easier. Thank you guys!

I can't say enough positive things about Reuben, Tilda, Kim, and the team. We were devastated by our loss, but they made sure we were treated with the care and consideration I would have only expected from family or close friends. Everyone we interacted with was compassionate, knowledgeable, and meticulous. At every step they communicated clearly and only made promises they could keep. I hope I won't need their services for a while, but they will be among my first calls when we need to make arrangements for a loved one.

If you don’t know where to even start, the good news is you’re done! After comparing reviews and prices between mortuaries, I went with Colma Cremation and I am SO happy I did. Their compassionate, customer centered approach, is really the reason behind this review. Stellar communication and customer support was extremely important to me and stood out above their competitors. Their prices are the best too, significantly lower that the others. Reuben, Stephanie, and Kimberly exceeded my expectations and were soooooo kind and compassionate throughout the whole process. There was a misunderstanding (on my part) and Reuben was gracious enough to replace the urn and put in a request for expedited shipping to ensure it was here in time for my mom’s service. He sat with me and answered all my ridiculous questions thoroughly and respectfully, and let me brag all about what an awesome woman my mom was. He was engaging and easy to talk to. He really provided comfort in addition to excellent service and an overall exceptional experience. I hope I won’t be, but if I’m ever in this unfortunate position again, I have peace of mind knowing I know exactly who to call.
