San Francisco Columbarium & Funeral Home 舊金山骨灰龕與殯儀館 provides compassionate pet aftercare services in San Francisco, CA.
In this truly beautiful resting place, my dear father — who fled the war in our homeland and never found peace there — has finally found his eternal peace. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff of the columbarium for their warmth, care, patience, and calm support toward me, a foreigner who does not speak English, and for their kind assistance in completing all the burial arrangements. My special thanks go to Alan Chu, Family Service Counselor, for his kindness, compassion, and outstanding professionalism. This place radiates a deep sense of serenity and peace. I have seen columbaria in different countries, but this one is truly exceptional — a place of dignity, beauty, and heartfelt reverence for those who have passed. My deepest and endless gratitude to everyone who helps preserve this sacred tranquility.
My parents are happily together again at the SF Columbarium with all of their favorites. Crystal Hoffman is very responsive and accommodating.
The San Francisco columbarium in the experience that we had working with the staff was amazing. Esther, Kordell, and Grace did a phenomenal job. My uncle lived in San Francisco, and the rest of the family lived on the East Coast. Esther was communicative easily accessible by phone and was empathetic and compassionate when we met with her in person to finalize everything. The columbarium itself is stunning. It is a special place to have a celebration of life For your loved one. The day of the service, the staff was so accommodating. They were there for anything that we needed in an unobtrusive way I highly recommend Having A celebration of life at the columbarium in San Francisco. It’s truly a memory I’ll never forget and I think my uncle would be proud.
Said good bye to a friend in this beautiful place just a few hundred feet from bustle of the city a literal oasis in the concrete jungle of San Francisco. The impressive structure was built in 1898 but kept up meticulously like the first day it was opened if that's possible. There are 4 levels containing thousands that choose this as their final resting place for eternity. I was told by the very kind director that a little girl that died and rests here had been afraid of the dark so a special light was installed and is always stays on for her. Among the famous people here is Harvey Milk and the reverend Cecil Williams has reserved his place for his final resting place.
My experience was extremely positive. I believe that this experience was made possible not only by the comprehensive service that San Francisco Columbarium provides, but equally through consultation provided by their Family Service Counselor Crystal Hoffman. She provided excellent services for my father’s funeral service in 2021 and that experience is what drew me again to her and the Columbarium for the preplanning service for my own funeral. Chrystal has a passion for her work and humbly offers companionate assistance. I can’t say enough for how deeply I was touched while working with her in planning this last and very profound milestone of my life.
