Honor Cremations was the best choice for our family. My Dad's wishes were to be cremated and have a burial at sea in San Diego. David and the Honor Cremations team helped our family during each step of the cremation process in a compassionate way. The communication was stellar from the beginning. They were kind as well as patient, answering all of our questions. The Honor Hub portal to communicate via chat and see each step in the process helped us stay informed all the way through receiving the urn. The urn was hand delivered by David and our family felt how much care went into providing our Dad with a peaceful transition. They also provided the permits required for the burial at sea and instructions that supported us as we began to work with the burial at sea provider. The entire experience was seamless, attentive, gracious and caring. It's never easy to say goodbye. I had never used a direct cremation service before, and with so many scams going on these days, I had to make sure it was legitimate. After researching and talking to different providers, I decided to go with Honor, and it proved to be the right decision. The whole process with Honor was easy, simple, and transparent. David was very supportive, respectful, and honest when explaining things to me. For instance, I wasn't aware that because my friend sustained a fall, the coroner's office had to get involved, hence the longer process. It has been a difficult time losing my friend, but Honor Cremation made the process painless. They updated me every step of the way, so I had one less thing to worry about. Even though my friend was frugal, I didn't choose the least expensive direct cremation service because, with only a $300 difference, the level of responsiveness and genuine caring attitude from Honor Cremation was far superior. Compared to funeral homes, Honor was much more personal, caring, and much less expensive. I am sure my friend would have approved given the quality of the service we received. Four months ago, I was notified that my brother unexpectedly passed away. I had no idea where to begin. To complicate things, he was in San Francisco, and I am in Michigan. I was not able to make the trip to the West Coast, so I began to search online. I read reviews on many cremation services. The only service that had all positive reviews was Honor Cremations. I filled out the form online and was immediately contacted via text by David Madden. He walked me through every step of the process and kept me up to date on the progress of the cremation. He was very professional, kind and patient during this difficult time. The process went very smoothly, and my brother's ashes were delivered to me all the way across the country within 2 weeks!
