Los Angeles Pet Cemetery provides compassionate pet aftercare services in Los Angeles, CA.
Still the kindest and most compassionate staff! We unfortunately had to come here twice this year when our beloved buns passed within 2 months of each other. LA Pet Memorial was able to give us a same day appointment so that we can have our boy cremated and given back to us within 1.5 hrs. We just wandered the lovely grounds (which date back to the 1930s) while we waited, visiting the MGM Lion and other famous residents here. Their prices are probably the most reasonable of any place we contacted. When our beloved German Shepherd passed in 2023, the vet office sent him to Cal Pet. When we called Cal Pet last year when our first bunny died, their charge for a private cremation of a 2 lb rabbit, was almost the same as what we paid for a 65lb dog… Unfortunately with pets, you have to deal with the aftercare when they pass. But luckily LA Pet Memorial is there and close by. We will always recommend them wholeheartedly.
I can’t say anymore positive things about this place! My beloved Cat passed away and I had her cremated here and I couldn't have been more satisfied with the services this cemetery provides! The staff is amazing, I was a wreck the day I came for my cats cremation but the young Hispanic employee with the shaved head who drove me up and cremated my cat was amazing. And so was the man with the white beard who was there and very accommodating! Unfortunately I was too sad to remember their names, but thank you for your kind words sirs! I would highly recommend this place over taking your deceased pets anywhere else. Thank you to the Los Angeles Pet memorial park!
I’m utterly heart broken by their recent actions. I bought a rose tree for my dog’s grave couple of years ago through their office. I was charged $1000. But it was destroyed by Santa Ana wind in late 2024. When I bought it, I was told it’s for life time, meaning they will replant if it was destroyed or died. But they chose to not replant the rose tree because they said they “can’t find the invoice”. The rose tree can only be purchased and planted by the cemetery themselves. I can’t grasp the logic behind their decision of not replanting my dog’s rose tree. If the tree was planted and destroyed, then doesn’t that hold enough evidence of a payment by the owner? I don’t understand why the customer is being punished by their incompetence of keeping records. They can still make this right, let’s see how long it takes for them to mend this problem.
Losing a pet is never easy, but the kindness shown here made a world of difference. Willie assisted us, and I cannot thank him enough for his empathy. He was professional, respectful, and above all, sincere. It’s clear that he understands the gravity of these moments. Thank you, Willie, for your compassion. Rest in peace Kimi. I love you buddy.
Our beloved, precious 19 year old cat passed recently and we brought her to S.O.P.H.I.E. to be cremated, because we trust that we will actually get her remains here. Kathy was fantastic, helping us to set up the appointment and walk us through preparations and procedures. She was so patient and empathetic as we were in such a sad emotional place. And Cesar took wonderful care of us and our kitty on the cremation day, patiently making the paw prints, taking us to be with her during the procedure and so compassionately allowing us the time and space to grieve our loss. Wonderful people, beautiful location and a peaceful send off for our precious cat. We also brought our 2 dogs and cat here 15+- years ago and are so glad to see they are still taking such good care of people and their animal families. Thank you all!!
