Loving at Home Pet Euthanasia

Compassionate, Professional, and Timely Care We recently had to make the hardest decision to say goodbye to our beloved senior dog, Coco, who was 16 and rapidly declining due to kidney failure. After doing everything we could, she stopped eating, and it became clear that the kindest choice was to end her suffering. When time became critical, Dr. Saiki was a true lifeline. She responded on incredibly short notice, preventing us from having to make our sweet girl suffer through another painful day waiting for assistance. This immediate response was a huge relief I will never forget. A Professional and Peaceful Transition: Dr. Saiki was exceptionally professional, explaining every step of the process clearly and calmly. She focuses purely on providing a dignified, peaceful transition, without unnecessary distractions, which we greatly appreciated. Having previously said goodbye to three other senior pets in a clinic setting, I can truly say that having Dr. Saiki come to our home made all the difference. Coco was able to go peacefully, surrounded by everyone who loved her, resting in her favorite spot on the couch, right in my arms. Thank you, Dr. Saiki, for your dedication. This experience gave me absolute peace of mind that I made the best decision for Coco.

We had the privilege of working with Dr. Saiki during one of the most difficult times in our lives—the passing of our beloved Nicolasa. Nicolasa was with us for 16 wonderful years, a loyal and loving companion who brought immeasurable joy to our family. When the time came to say goodbye, we were fortunate to have Dr. Saiki’s compassionate guidance and support. Dr. Saiki helped us provide Nicolasa with the peaceful and dignified farewell she deserved. Her warmth and caring presence made all the difference, ensuring that Nicolasa could part with us in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by love. Dr. Saiki took the time to explain every step of the process, answer all of our questions, and offer comfort when we needed it most. Her empathy and genuine care for both Nicolasa and our family brought us so much peace during such a heartbreaking moment. We will always be grateful for the compassion and support Dr. Saiki showed us. She made an unbearable experience a little easier, and for that, we cannot thank her enough. Dr. Saiki is truly a remarkable veterinarian, and her work will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Dr. Saiki was wonderful to work with. On a Monday morning, we contacted her before 9am, and she was able and willing to come in that same morning. Two hours after calling her, she came into our office and consoled our staff as she administered the euthanasia. Our office cat Bernie was so loved and it was such a hard time for us to see Bernie go. His 16 years of life was special to our JATC staff and students; he was truly a part of the family, and he will be so so missed. Dr. Saiki was loving and caring and provided our staff a calming and professional service. After our tears were wiped away there was a sense of peace with our reality of Bernie's passing. Dr. Saiki sent our office condolences in a card one week later, and that gesture was very touching and appreciated. Within two weeks we received Bernie's ashes. Cannot thank Dr. Saiki enough for making a very hard experience a little more easier! Bernie was able to return back home with us and now still shines his light on our office and school everyday!

We had to say goodbye to our beloved Jackie, and Dr. Saiki was patient, kind and gentle with us all. Being at home in a calm and safe environment was best for everyone. Dr. Saiki takes care of arrangements afterwards as well, which is so important and such a relief when you are so deeply devastated by the loss of your loved one.

Dr. Saiki was extremely compassionate during very difficult time for our family. She was amazing in helping to provide a peaceful environment for our pets passing. She's was on time, kind, reassuring, and had a calm presence. Having our pet pass at home made an unbelievably difficult experience more bearable for us and our beloved and we are glad to have had Dr. Saiki there.
