Peaceful Pets of The Bay Area provides compassionate pet aftercare services in San Francisco, CA.
Peaceful Pets of the Bay Area did a wonderful job with my dog Princess. They communicated with me every step of the way and reassured me that my baby girl was in good hands. There was a mix up where she ended up being held in the freezer rather than being processed immediately, however when I reached out to find out what the delay was they responded quickly, honestly, and with compassion. They explained what happened and apologized and processed her and her beautiful keepsakes immediately and I had my baby girl home by the end of the week. I highly recommend Peaceful Pets to anyone looking for caring and compassionate cremation of their beloved pet. Will definitely be returning when it's time for my elderly cat to cross the rainbow bridge. Thank you Peaceful Pets for being amazing and supportive through this difficult time. I truly felt like my Princess was in good hands and cared for until the very end when she was returned to me.
A service no one should ever have to use as pets should live forever. Earlier this month my 15 year old chihuahua passed away while I was out of state. These guys basically held my hand through everything and treated myself and my beloved Mia with so much grace, compassion and dignity. They truly went above and beyond in my time of grief. They picked her up, even sent me a photo of her, which was a bit of a morbid request but they understood my pain and never hesitated. I received her beautiful urn, fur clipping and clay paw print today. The closure they gave me is something no amount of money could ever buy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Losing our precious pup Toby last Friday was absolutely devastating for my family. When I called Precious Pets and spoke with Tony, he was beyond professional, polite, and understanding with me. From the initial pick up, to the return of our precious Toby was amazing service and I want to thank you for being professional and compassionate towards our family, including our pup Toby. It truly made the whole experience easier to bear. I will definitely be recommending this company without a doubt to anyone I know that may experience the loss of a pet and in need of the same service.
Losing a pet is an extremely painful and devastating experience. Sometimes leaving little clarity for careful planning. I’m so grateful for Peaceful Pets of the Bay Area. We reached out before the listed business hours and they happily replied. They made the process of losing a pet a little easier in the sense that they completely took over once my precious pup was euthanized. They arranged to pick the body up, cremation, and delivery of ashes. I chose to use an urn that I purchased elsewhere. Tony was super kind, flexible, patient and professional. He was willing to work with us to make this as smooth as possible, and even met me to pick up the urn. After about a week my sweet pup’s ashes were delivered right to my front door and handed to us. By all means this was an extremely difficult time, but it was made easier by this wonderful company. The prices are reasonable, and the service is compassionate and professional.
One would think that a business dealing with the final moments of beloved pets would show an ounce of compassion or professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience here proved otherwise. The associate (Tony) we dealt with seemed almost inconvenienced by our presence, speaking in a tone that could only be described as awful. I suppose empathy wasn’t in the training manual—because when a family is saying goodbye to a cherished companion, the last thing they expect is indifference. There was no acknowledgment of our grief, no warmth, and certainly no effort to make the process feel anything other than transactional. If you’re looking for a place that will handle your pet’s memory with care and your emotions with sensitivity, you may want to look elsewhere. Unless, of course, you’re fine with feeling like you just dropped off dry cleaning instead of saying a final farewell to a member of your family.
