Pet's Rest, Inc. provides compassionate pet aftercare services in San Francisco, CA.
I wish I can put zero and negative values. We just lost our cat and ordered a private cremation. We were clearly told at our vet hospital, that Pet's rest will call us and allow to pick the urn. Nobody called us within 3 days and my husband wrote email. NO answer. I called after and was told that the remains of our cat were transferred already to the vet clinic in random standard pink box. When I asked why they did not call, I was told that they do not provide this type of service. Unfortunately, I already lost two pets previously and we never had any issues with remains. Representatives always called us, we just picked the urns. Not any more. The company Pet's rest was working with apparently is closed and they did not bother to establish new relationship with another company. I will definitely notify the vet clinic, our friends and relatives who have pets not to deal with Pet's rest. We had enough grief losing our pet, but now we have to deal with transfer remains to the different urn and it will prolong our suffering. Just do not deal with them. We have plenty options available. Wish all the best to all of you and your pets. I will notify Better business Bureau regarding this company. Will file an official complain. Stay away.
Only place I could find that does witness cremation. I could not part with my baby and the worry that ashes could get mixed up stressed me out too much. The guy doing the cremation was kind. We were there from start to finish and it gave me so much peace of mind in such a terrible situation. I was able to walk out with his ashes in about 2 hrs.
They were so kind to me and patient while I cried during the arrangement making. Were very fair with pricing and when I got my heart dog back he was in a beautiful, intricately carved box with his information on a personalized sticker. They made this whole awful situation just a little bit easier and I'm forever grateful to them for their tact, kindness, and patience with me and the dignity and love they showed my best friend's remains.
My cat passed away on June 2. Can't stand the idea of anything except burial for him. I chose Pet's Rest because it's close and I can visit his grave. He was buried on June 5.
Losing my pet cat David and trying to find a cremation place. Pet Rest provided the best service. I’m very grateful. Staffs are nice and patient. Hope all pets can rest in peace……
