Silver Lining, and Tatiana specifically, were AMAZING. The team made the process of planning my Mom's funeral as stress free as humanly possible. They processed all the forms and not only secured cremation authorizations from the county within hours, but also connected us with a Hindu priest to conduct the last rites. They were surprisingly knowledgeable about our culture, including how to dress Mom in her sari properly. We loved how everything was communicated clearly about what we could bring, including a slideshow of photos and Mom's favorite playlist. Tatiana was warm and kind and it felt like she was part of the family. Her level of personal care and dedication to make the funeral special was really touching. The facility itself is really nice and looks new with modern equipment and sound systems. Nobody wants to plan a funeral, but if I ever have to do one again in San Diego, I would definitely do it at Silver Lining.

Silver Lining Cremations did an amazing job. My aunt was visiting from Hong Kong and passed away so suddenly. We needed to have her viewing and cremation done quickly to accomodate people coming from Asia and a family friend take her back to Hong Kong right after Christmas. So we needed paperwork done before everything shut down for Christmas. From start to finish Tatiana advocated to get the doctor to sign the release quickly. Tatiana was very kind and warm with my family during this hard time. They were so efficient. They went above and beyond what a mortuary does from past experience. The bonus is that their pricing was very reasonable.

They explained every option clearly and gently, without ever making us feel pressured into spending more than we were comfortable with. Communication was outstanding. We are out of town which meant staying in touch all that more important. We received prompt, kind responses to every question (day or night), and they kept us updated at every step of the process so there were no surprises. Their empathy was genuine – you could tell this wasn’t just a job to them. They listened to our stories about Uncle Allen, and truly honored the man he was in every detail of the cremation. The facilities were spotless and peaceful, the cremation process was handled with the utmost respect and transparency, and they even followed up with us weeks later just to see how we were doing. In the darkest moments, they brought light and humanity. We will forever be grateful for their caring hearts and professionalism. Tatiana was very comforting and supportive during this difficult time. She provided options and advice to ease the burden of making critical decisions when we were not necessarily thinking straight and made sure we spent money on the most essential items. She had florists and priests at the ready. The video stream option allowed our family from outside the state join the ceremony, which was a nice touch along with audio playlists and photo slideshow options. Highly recommend using their services.
