I came across this company after researching a long list of cremation places. I am so thankful we chose them. Lawrence was compassionate and was always informing of us of each step of the process. Most companies mail the ashes via USPS. This company sends their own representative to your home to deliver the ashes of your loved one. This difference made me choose them as well as the great yelp reviews. I spoke with Lawrence and immediately felt comfortable to have him be in charge of my loved one. James brought my loved ones ashes home and they also helped us set up the burial at sea with one of their captains. During this painful time it was of comfort to not have to worry about issues at all. Everything was handled smoothly and my family is very grateful to Lawrence and James as well as DCLA.

My uncle passed away. We don't live in Los Angeles so we needed someone on the ground to help us through this process. I contacted DCLA initially because they were one of the least expensive options. What they did was above and beyond. They took care of everything, including working with the hospital, maintaining custody, filing all certifications and forms to the county, getting our death certificate, handling reporting to Social Security, the cremation process itself, and all the details I just didn't know existed. They handled it all. Lawrence was extremely polite, professional, caring in his communications and kept me up to date with status reports on everything. In the end, we chose the scatter-at-sea option, which they also handled. All of it with great consideration and professionalism. I am very grateful for their assistance.
