Resting Rainbow Pet Cremation of Miami

I would not wish the loss of the pet on anyone but unfortunately it’s something we have to be prepared for. Over a month ago I found myself in this circumstance, facing the sudden loss of my birdie Phoebe. In my grief and constant tears I had to do my research on what to do with my babys little tiny body, I could not mourn until I knew what my next steps had to be. I found Resting Rainbow through a quick search, frantically trying to find somewhere for my baby to go to. From the very first phone call, Monica’s voice felt present like as if she was there with me. I am so grateful for that and I will never forget. When I arrived at Resting Rainbow, I was prepared to only have a short last moment with my baby, thinking this was just a place to drop off and leave. That was not the case though, I was met with Frederik who was so so kind and guided me to a room with comfy sofas and soft music. I was finally able to mourn my loss. Frederik was so patient, he constantly reassured me that I can take all the time I need. There was another family mourning the loss of their doggie in the same room and it just felt so comforting to have other people going through the same experience. When I was ready to leave, Frederik let me take Phoebe to the back room, where I laid her to rest next to the doggie that had just passed. Thank you Monica, Frederik and everyone in the Resting Rainbow team, for making a devastating day so much more easier on me and everyone who walks through those doors.

My entire experience at rainbow from the first day until the day I got my baby boy’s ashes has been amazing. Monica is truly an angel. She’s such a great person. It was so beautiful and clean in there as soon as you walk in it’s peaceful. It’s beautiful. It’s such an ugly hard heartbreaking time when you lose something that means so much to you and you love so much and they really do make the process better. I would definitely recommend rainbow to everyone. They truly are amazing. I am very grateful for Monica and her team and cash and I Really appreciate it.

Unfortunately our 14 year old rat terrier, Mia had to be put to sleep due to worsening health conditions. We took her to the hospital to undergo these procedures and felt in limbo about her process to doggie heaven. That is when my husband started calling places that allowed us to be present during the entire process of her cremation. We found Resting Rainbow Pet Memorial and Cremation and felt aligned with their process. We knew it was necessary to transport her on her fluffy bed surrounded by love. Upon arrival we entered a room large enough to gather the family centered around her and had time to talk about her memories, had some coffee and felt very hospitable. Without pressure to proceed and once ready, we said our see you later to Mia and it is then when they carried her to the cremation room. Transparent with windows to watch at your own disclosure so that you know that’s your pet and she is being handled with care. Process took 2-3 hours but the staff made us feel at home and welcomed. Honestly, wouldn’t have had it any other way to have my baby go to Rainbow Heaven. Fly high Mia, you are always loved!

I cannot thank Resting Rainbow Cremation enough for their compassionate and prompt service during one of the most difficult times. When I received the news about my toy poodle, Teddy, I contacted them in the early morning hours while on a cruise. Despite the late hour, they responded immediately and guided me through all the options with care and patience. My mother was able to drop Teddy off at their office, and by Monday, I received a call that Teddy was ready for pickup. Gary, who personally handled Teddy’s remains, showed genuine care and respect, which brought me immense comfort. When I picked up Teddy’s ashes, Monica was there to offer her condolences and made me feel genuinely supported. From start to finish, their service was outstanding and truly respectful. I’m deeply grateful for their kindness during such a hard time.

Resting Rainbow was a shining light in a time of darkness after losing my best friend and dog I could ever ask for of 17 years (Kirby). They treated Kirby and myself with dignity and compassion throughout the time of loss and throughout the cremation process. I elected to do the witness cremation process and whether I was speaking to Nicholas on the phone pre-appointment or with Monica during the process, Kirby and myself were treated with the utmost care and respect. I used Resting Rainbow a year and a half ago when they were under the name Peaceful Paws when my mom’s dog Riley had passed away and used them again this year. I was worried how the experience would be this year due to name change, but it was an even better experience this year which I didn’t think was possible. Again, Resting Rainbow was a shining light in a period of great loss and sadness. Thank you Monica and the Resting Rainbow team for your professionalism. RIP Kirby
