Resting Rainbow Pet Cremation of Sarasota

after a sudden tragedy of our beloved cat we were in a rush to get our dear penny cremated. after searching on google I found the resting rainbow. We made a phone call and decided to bring our lovely angel in the same day (they offer pick-up services too) - even though we were there when the man was about to leave for the day he still was able to assist us. we wanted the process done in the same day so we paid to rush the process. We are so happy we did. The man that helped us was extremely helpful and understanding and made sure we felt well informed and allowed us to see her go from each stage of the process. before he started he was able to get her paw print- which I will cherish. the place was impeccably clean and his hospitality was amazing. there was an assortment of different urns and keepsakes for your beloved pet in the waiting area to browse while you wait. we were so happy with the way she was brought out to us. her ashes were placed in a velvet bag with a personalized candle holder, a very nice smelling candle, a small pendant with her ashes, all the papers, and a nice tote bag to carry everything out in. even though it was an absolute tragedy to have to say goodbye to our sweet angel penny this place made it seem a little easier. thank you again so much for caring for us and our sweet kitty!

We couldn’t have asked for a more precious way to honor our sweet dog Nelly after 10 years of being a beloved member of our family. They were very kind and expressed their condolences on numerous occasions. The amount of love they put into our sweet girls remains was very thoughtful. Resting Rainbow 🌈 did an incredible job taking care of our big boy Harley. Losing a pet is never easy, and Jason and his wife, came to our house (on their way to dinner 😢) and made something that was so extremely difficult and emotional to deal with, a little easier. The compassion and empathy they had when they arrived at our home, was incredibly amazing. I knew Harley was being handled with care, and will be taking care of as they drive away. We were able to pick up Harley and bring his ashes home in just a few days. His ashes were in a beautiful wooden box with his name on it, along with a candle with his name on it, a paw print, and beautiful hear shaped charm with some of his ashes in it❤️ Resting rainbow went above and beyond, and being a forever pet owner, Resting rainbow will always be my 1st phone call next time I need to deal with the loss of a fur baby. Thank you for doing what you do, and helping people deal with their loss.

After several strokes our 15 year old cat was still purring around the clock and rallying to recover. She was having a good day, but we knew that new struggles were in store for her. Maybe a month, maybe tomorrow. Was now the right time if she wasn't giving up herself? Dr. Buchanan arrived amid conflicting opinions and intense emotions, but her soothing presence allowed us all to come together with love and peace. She instantly became part of our family unit, sitting on the bed with us all, Mini in the center just as happy and content as we'd seen her in a long time. She let us each take the time we needed to be ready, chatting with us as if she wasn't waiting at all. Her ultimate gift was cradling Mini expertly into her final resting position, a task that even I wasn't prepared for. It's never an easy decision to choose quality of life over quantity. Dr. Buchanan's compassion and support was exactly what we couldn't give to ourselves at the time. She came to ease Mini's suffering, but brought peace to all of us. "Thank you" just isn't enough

I couldn’t have asked for a more caring and efficient cremation of my baby Gremlin. Gremlin was special not just because he was mine but he was born with so many birth defects. When he passed in Labor Day they were open and received him. They had him back to me the next day with his ashes nicely placed in a bag so I can mix some with my dad who passed away and chose Gremlin for me. They gave me a paw print and a keepsake in a little heart. They engraved a prayer candle holder and presented everything so beautifully. It was the hardest experience of my life but I’m so grateful for Jason and the staff and the care and time they took.
