Dignified Pet Transport

On April 21, 2025 we unexpectedly lost our Cherish St. Bernard. Originally we called swansboro emergency vet clinic and were referred to call another company. Immediately we knew Buttercup deserved to go with Dignity. That’s when we found Nick. Some folks are meant to be in a certain career. There was zero hesitation, zero talk of after hour charges, or how we could deliver our 178 pound deceased pet ourselves. Nick was gentle, understanding, kept us informed while in route and remained patient with us throughout the….. worst moments of our life. The complete process with Nick made all the difference to us. The job Nick has is one I’d never personally be able to do, the job he has isn’t just for a paycheck, it takes a special skill and a golden heart. That’s the person you’ll get should you ever have to make the call. Please don’t the mistake we made calling another company first. We send our gratitude to Nick and our prayers to those that have lost their beloved pets.🙏🏻🐶🩷

My dog Macy passed away early on a Sunday morning. I reached out to Dignified Pet Transport through their website. Their response time was very timely. They were very courteous and empathetic. Pick up at my home was handled with the utmost respect for both me and my pet. I received regular updates throughout the process and am immensely happy with the products (urn and paw print cast) that I received. Their compassion and understanding made the whole process seamless.

My sweet girl passed away on the morning of one of the winter storms in January. This group was the first company that I called, and Nick wasted no time in coming to pick her up. He explained everything in detail over the phone, and was extremely considerate of my family’s loss. He came as quickly as he could, despite the road conditions, and updated me along the way. I am so impressed and highly suggest them for any pet loss! Their professionalism, prices, kindness, flexibility and courtesy exceeds all expectations. Dignified Pet Transport took fantastic care of my girl, and got her back to me in a beautiful urn. I was also able to get a pair of prints of her paw as well, that also came out beautiful. I am so grateful for you guys!

I just want to start by saying, what a good and professional outfit! My disabled brother's faithful companion, Luke, died somewhat unexpectedly on a Saturday afternoon. I was working, and I scrambled to find someone who could help us. I came across Dignified Pet Transport, and I am so glad I did. Nick was such a professional, and came all the way from the Richlands area to Newport to pick Luke up. Today, Luke came home to be with Dee. What a great organization. We lost our sweet old boy Russell a few months ago and were in a serious bind as to how to deal with his remains. The first number we called was Dignified Pet Transport. Nick was so kind and gentle with Russell and super sweet to me and my mom. Unfortunately, our pets never live long enough so we have him in our contacts for the future for our other pets.
