Pet Angel Memorial Center provides compassionate pet aftercare services in Jacksonville, FL.
So...my urn turned out great and the lady at the front desk was really sweet but I will say people trust this company with their dogs and in my case my baby, my family. The least they could have done was get the memorial items right. I wanted 2 paw prints and we discussed in office that I wanted 1 of them for a tattoo. Both paw prints(which cost $62.00) were in my opinion too smudged for a tattoo. My dog had an extra toe which made it unique and I could not even tell in the print. Of course All of their sample prints advertised in their office looked perfect though. The dogs coming in are unable to move or fight the process so there should be NO reason they can not get a good print unless they are rushing. I also asked for some ashes to be set aside for a charm I bought elsewhere. When I got there to pick up they had forgotten. She had to take him to the back to get me some. When I got home the amount she set aside was not even enough for my charm. So in my grieving process I had to open my baby's ashes and go thru them myself. Nobody should have to do that while grieving!! I am very dissatisfied and disappointed at the whole process at this point!! These are all memorial items that I can not get back! They did reach out and said they would "try" to make this situation right but of course a week has gone by and I've heard nothing. At this point I feel like they are blowing off the situation. They did ask me to take my review down which I did and now i have gone from sad to pissed so I am reposting. The passing of a fur baby should not be this aggravating especially when it is already an emotional process. Everyone's baby deserves the best in their passing. I will definitely be doing something else in the future if needed
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Pet Angel Memorial Center. The loss of a pet is akin to losing a family member. When I experienced the loss of my canine companion, their team demonstrated exceptional compassion and understanding. I believe it is important to acknowledge their outstanding service. They provided exemplary care for my dog.
I unexpectedly had to put my 11 year old girl Fuji to sleep and this past weekend after the onset of a sudden and aggressive illness, and I was heartbroken and am still processing that grief. Pet Angels made it very easy to arrange a private cremation for her- She passed on a Saturday evening and I was able to pick her up the following Thursday. I got my girl back in her wooden box I selected and it was packaged carefully in a blue velvet bag. Savannah was the staff member I interacted with and she was so kind and compassionate, even the tone in which she spoke was incredibly gentle. I have a 14 year old senior at home still, and while I hope I don't have to make this arrangement any time soon, I would confidently use this company again for her cremation when that time comes.
I have to say that for it being our first time having to make the difficult decision of putting out precious Kitty to rest. It gives me so much comfort and peace for some reason because Paw Prints were so compassionate and empathetic for our loss. Not only was the urn perfect but the little additional touches made it so much more comforting. The poem, sympathy card, wildflower seeds but what mostly touched my heart and had me in tears was the print of his paw and his snout. It’s like he made sure he sent us a kiss before he crossed the rainbow because we were always giving him lots of kisses. 😔 😢 This really touched my heart and I am grateful for it. Thank you Paw Prints❤️
Savanah and Chris were amazing. They went above and beyond to make this process as easy as possible - I shared custody of our Tinkerbell with my best friend and Chris was so nice and understanding when I asked if they could separate her ashes and put in a duplicate box so that we both could have a piece of her. 100% recommended.
