Fond Memories - Faithful Friends Pet Cemetery provides compassionate pet aftercare services in Dallas, TX.
They have cremated both of my babies and returned them quickly. Very respectful. The urns that both of my babies came back in were more what we call "poverty urns" for income-sensitive people, though, and I paid $25 for a nose print to display and it wasn't display-worthy. (It wasn't even his full nose.) Luckily, our vet took digital paw print and nose/mouth images and we can use that in the shadow box, instead. The urns, luckily, were "free" and included with the package, so we can just discard them. I'd be embarrassed to have this in my house... It's not even stained all over! In summary, recommend for cremation services, but not for display-worthy memorial pieces.
Jay and Trey were so kind and comforting. We had a miscommunication in urns with the vet and I called on Christmas Eve, and they took care of our issues. Trey was so gentle handing our babies ashes like she was his own. They were both thoughtful and compassionate. And they made the loss of our baby girl Lucy so much easier.
Brought my baby home today and I couldn’t be happier with the way everything turned out. My beautiful girl was definitely well cared for. Thank you fond memories!
I lost my poor cat Kitty back in May. Was contacted by the Facility Manager Stephen Donnachie to inform me that my cat's paw print had been lost in the facility and since she was cremated they could not make another one. I was so upset but I understand mistakes can happen. Stephen told me to email him and Mary Willaims 5 pics and they would send me a Memorial blanket. Was told that on June 2. June 9th I emailed the pics and Stephen confirmed he received them. Was told it would take 2 weeks to get the blanket. I emailed on July 9 to the status of the blanket. No reply. NO reply EVER. I did not ask for a blanket, nor did I ask for anything to make up for the negligence and loss of the paw print. Stephen OFFERED the blanket and then cut communications. He claims to be a loving pet owner, but how could you be, to not make up for their mistake of which I was understanding and not mad nor raised my voice or use profane language? Owning a mistake is one thing, but offering restitution of any kind and then not following through is absolutely low. Shame on you!
All the staff members I encountered were wonderful, but Alyssa is especially amazing. She and I had been going back and forth via email for days about getting a witnessed cremation set up for me to say my final goodbyes to my baby boy, Doc. Alyssa always answered back as fast as she could and was compassionate and reassuring each time. On the day of the viewing, they had Doc set up and looking as good as possible, given the circumstances. They allowed me time to sit with him and then let me go back to see him go in, so that I would have peace of mind. Alyssa was so kind and gentle throughout the whole process and gave me a hug when it was all over, which I desperately needed. Thank you so much, all of you, but especially Alyssa. I am so grateful for people like y'all who get that non-human animals are just as much part of the family as anyone else.
