Losing a loved one is never easy, but having Ana as our funeral director made all the difference. She was truly heaven-sent so caring, compassionate, and attentive to every detail. She made sure all of our needs were met, and her gentle presence brought comfort in the middle of our grief. Even in such a painful time, Ana helped everything run so smoothly that we were able to focus on honoring and saying goodbye to our loved one instead of stressing over arrangements. I will never forget how patient, kind, and understanding she was through it all. Thank you, Ana, from the bottom of our hearts, for your care and compassion. You made one of the hardest experiences a little easier to bear.
On behalf of my husband Gabriel Guerra and I ,we would love to thank Mission Funeral Chapels Cemeteries & Creamatories. The staff went above & beyond for us. It was a pleasure to work with John Trevino. John was our funeral director. He was so very patient, kind, detailed oriented & above all very empathetic. Our son was taken from us very unexpectedly & tragically. We were told at first we would not be able to have an open casket for our son. But John and his staff were able to make that possible for us after all. Matthew's father was able to hold and kiss Matthew goodbye as he had wished for. Our daughter-in-law Savannah also passed away alongside our son, with our grandson still in her womb. John also worked very hard and diligently to make it possible for our grandson to lay next to our son for his viewing. That is something we will be forever grateful for. As at least we got to hold our grandson once in this lifetime. We Will cherish that moment forever. At the time John was also handling about 11 other funerals. But he was always available to answer our calls and help us guide us through this difficult process. We cannot thank Mission Funeral Park Homes enough for everything that they have done for our family.
I have many loved ones at this cemetery on Southside What I don’t understand is your flower pick up dates. Not all of us are able to place n revere our loved ones in the narrow window of dates u set. I would like to see a set date for pick up so we can plan to deliver flowers after that date n have them last at least 30 days at gravesite
We recently laid my mother-in-law to rest at Mission Park Funeral Home, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the care and thoughtfulness shown by the staff. The funeral director Mr. John Trevino was exceptionally supportive, guiding us through the entire process with genuine compassion. What stood out the most was a moment just before the burial. Without any prompt, Mr. Treviño came to speak, offering heartfelt words that deeply touched us all. His kindness and sincerity made this very sad time a bit more bearable and meaningful. Thank you, Mission Park Funeral Home, for your incredible support and for making a difficult time a little easier to navigate.
Extremely disappointed. Employee turnover is crazy. They mishandled both parents’ contracts and arrangements, always to their financial benefit. Even posted Dad’s service at another location instead of actual. Mom’s box is still not engraved after 7-8 months. When you call, no urgency and nobody knows what is going on. When you push they try and turn it blaming you for failures even when you bring proof and receipt of their failure. I will never recommend involving yourself here.
