Paws In Paradise Pet Crematory provides compassionate pet aftercare services in Austin, TX.
Unfortunately I have had to use Paws In Paradise three times over the past 2 years. Most recently two times in two weeks. My 22 year old cat Psycho who passed from old age and my 8 year old Norwegian Elkhound dog, BitBit, who I had to have put down due to cancer exactly two weeks later. With both of my babies, they were kind, caring, and compassionate. They gave me time to say Goodbye a final time before taking them. I feel like they were all in good hands when I left. They never tried to upsell me to a higher priced package and the boxes they came back in are beautiful! They even checked with me twice to make sure that BitBit’s name would be correct on the plaque. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their fur baby cremated. While I hope it is a long time away, I will be taking all my fur babies here for their final place before I take them home to be with me until it is my turn. Thank you to all the staff for being understanding and caring during this time.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who has recently lost their beloved fur baby. We showed up completely unannounced and heartbroken on a Sunday, and we ended up speaking to Matt on the phone. He told us he had an appointment at 1:15 but if we came back at 1:45 he would be more than happy to see us and accept our sweet Mustang. He was absolutely wonderful, he wasn't pushy at all, he did upsell us on a Christmas ornament with our old man's face on it but I was more than happy to pay the extra $ for as many mementos as I could get. He gave us as much time as we needed to say our final goodbyes to our old man, and then he carried him away. I turned to look one last time before I left the shop and Matt looked at me so reassuringly and said "Don't worry, we're going to take good care of him" and I fell apart, I absolutely lost it because that was the sweetest thing I could possibly hear in that moment. Fast forward to today, a little over a week later and I got the text that Mustang was ready to be picked up and taken home. We were driving from Lubbock back to San Antonio and we originally called and told them we would be there at 5:00. Due to some misadventures on our trip it was actually closer to 7:00 when we got there, and even though they technically close at 6:00 they promised me somebody would stay behind so I could pick my old man up on the way home, and they absolutely kept their word, which not many places will do that these days and that meant the world to me. Our memorial package was even more beautiful in person than in the photos we saw online, right down to the custom (albeit inappropriate) engraving on our candle votive. I wasn't sure they would actually accommodate the request due to the foul language but it is an inside joke among family and friends who knew and loved Mustang and I was absolutely blown away that they had accommodated the request. I can't speak more highly of this place than I plan to go forward, everybody we spoke to in this process was so compassionate and caring and nobody pushed us into buying products we weren't interested in and nobody ever made me regret driving over 2 hours from San Antonio to place my baby in their care and then trust them with his cremation.
We are deeply grateful to Paws in Paradise for the compassion and care they showed during one of the most difficult times of our lives—the passing of our beloved dog, Sophia. From the moment we reached out, their team treated us well and they guided us through the process with genuine empathy. The handling of her remains was done with such respect, and we found comfort in knowing she was in caring hands. Thank you for helping us say goodbye with peace and love.
"I cannot express how grateful I am for the compassionate and respectful service we received at [Crematory Name]. During such a heartbreaking time, the staff treated us and our beloved pet with genuine care and dignity. The facility was peaceful and beautifully maintained, which offered us comfort during our goodbye. They provided thoughtful personalized keepsakes that we will cherish forever. I highly recommend them to anyone needing pet cremation services. Thank you for making this difficult time a little easier."
I lost my best friend (ESP) and could not believe how much his own vet was going to charge. Over $400!! I NEEDED my Cloud with me. From the first phone call to pickup they treated us both with dignity and respect. They cleaned him up so I could have my last moments with him and I will forever be grateful it meant so much. Thank you
